Scholarship At University of St Andrews in UK is Alex Richardson Award which is open to ALL students in their second or third year with an interest in the Spanish language and Spanish culture. £2,500 will be awarded to a student who demonstrates plans to undertake an imaginative project in any Spanish speaking country which will broaden his or her understanding of the culture.
The Award was set up in memory of Alex Richardson, whose untimely death occurred midway through his junior honours year at the University of St Andrews. Alex’s passion for life was unbridled and his interest in Spanish speaking cultures was fuelled by his own travels in Central America.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a high school diploma with an excellent academic record.
- Applicants need to show that they have the right level of written and spoken in English.
