Nigerian Navy Screening Exercise Date

The 29th July, 2019 is the chosen date for the Nigerian Navy aptitude test for the Nigerian Navy 2019 recruitment exercise in the 30 centers across the nation.

Requirements For The Nigerian Navy Screening

  • Candidates are to come to the screening venue with the following requirements.
  • Consent form from parents and guardians.
  • Compulsory NYSC exemption/discharge certificate (it serves personnel from presenting a letter from unit/ID card).
  • 2B pencil, eraser, and sharpener only, as writing materials.
  • No communication device and mobile phone is permitted in the examination halls.
  • Two (2) Recent passport photograph

Brief History of Nigerian Navy

The origin of the Nigerian Navy could be traced to the Marine Department of the Royal Navy established in 1887 as a quasi-military organization, which combined the duties of the present-day Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority and the Nigerian Navy. Elements of the Marine Department took part in military operations against the Germans in Cameroun during the First World War between 1914–1918.
