There will be champions for each state of the Federation and the FCT from which the overall winner will emerge.

- It is time to celebrate our stars who despite the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on schooling, have continued to break grounds to contribute to the development of society
- Our teachers hold the key to our future and we celebrate them as shining stars
Maltina Teacher of the Year Eligibility.
- The initiative is open to teachers in ALL secondary schools across the country.
Prizes.
1st Prize
- N1,000,000.00 instantly
- N1,000,000.00 annually for 5 years
- Capacity development training
- Fully equipped block of classrooms or computer laboratory
- N500,000 as State Champion.
2nd Prize:
- N1,000,000.00
- N500,000 as State Champion.
3rd Prize:
- 750,000.00
- N500,000 as State Champion.
State Champion:
- N500,000 as State Champion.
The prizes for the Winner and Runners-up will be in addition to the N500,000.00 received as State Champions.
