LASU UTME Requirements
Below are the requirements for UTME admission in LASU:
- UTME Candidates are expected to have at least, 5 (five) Credits in five different subjects (English and mathematics inclusive) in their O’level result (s). This could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/ or any equivalent result.
- Candidates must have attained the age of 16 as at the time admission is offered.
- Candidates must purchase LASU Post UTME Form and perform excellently well in the examination to be offered admission.
- UTME candidates must make Lagos State University their first choice of institution. LASU does not admit candidates that make them a second choice of institution.
- To participate in LASU Post UTME screening, candidates are must have at least, 180 in JAMB UTME examination.
- Candidates must meet the stipulated cutoff mark for their courses and departments to be offered admission.
Important Information:
It is pertinent to note that LASU accepts two sittings result for admission. You might want to see how to combine WAEC and NECO results for admission into LASU this session.
LASU does not accept two sittings result for candidates seeking to study medicine or dentistry. In this cases, candidates must have at least, 5 Credits in just one sitting.
Candidates are to note that participation in LASU’s post UTME screening is a must for both UTME and Direct Entry aspirants of the university.
LASU Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Below are the direct entry admission requirements in LASU:
- Direct entry candidates must possess at least 5 (five) Credits in five different subjects (English and mathematics including) in their O’level result. This could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/ or any equivalent result. Alternatively, candidates must possess GCE A/L as this would be an added advantage.
- Candidates must have a minimum of Upper Credit in their ND or HND. It is pertinent to also know that candidates with Distinction may have better chance than the others candidates.
