The Lagos City Polytechnic Cut Off Mark is in line with the JAMB cut off mark for universities. Candidates that scored 150 and above in their JAMB examination are free to apply to the polytechnic.

- First and foremost, candidates with intention to study Lagos city poly, must be at least 16 years of age in the year of admission).
- Secondly, Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings in order to be qualified to study at the institution.
- Lastly, prospective students are expected to score up to the prescribed minimum JAMB cut off mark for Lagos city polytechnic.
