he Kaduna State University (KASU) was established under the Kaduna State Law No. 3 promulgated on 21st May, 2004. The promulgation was a consequence of the obvious and felt need to boost higher education in the State and the country in general. The underlying factor is the fact that the demand for University education in Nigeria has, since the past few years, risen astronomically. This has been the basis of reform regarding the establishment and ownership of Universities by both the public and the private sector. Since the reforms, many State and Private universities have been established.

Centre for Energy Research:

  • Paramedics and Disaster Management Science
  • Physics with Renewable Energy
  • National Diploma in Energy Security
  • National Diploma in Energy Management
  • National Diploma in Geography with Briquette
  • National Diploma in Biology with Biomass/Biofuel
  • National Diploma in Chemistry with Biofuel
A candidate must possess five (5) credits in O’Level subjects to include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) relevant subjects in Sciences, Social or Management Sciences.
Centre for Gender Studies:

  • National Diploma in Gender Studies
  • National Diploma in Gender and Development Studies
A candidate must possess five (5) credits in O’Level subjects to include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) relevant subjects in Sciences, Social or Management Sciences.
Computer Centre:

  • National Diploma in Web Technology.
  • National Diploma in Information Technology
  • National Diploma in Computer Networking
A candidate must possess five (5) credits in O’Level subjects to include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) relevant subjects in Sciences, Social or Management Sciences.
Centre for Procurement and Supply Chain Management:

  • National Diploma in Procurement Management
  • National Diploma in Logistics Management
  • National Diploma in Accounting
  • National Diploma in Public Management
  • National Diploma in Policy and Governance
  • National Diploma in Public Administration
  • National Diploma in Leadership and Development
A candidate must possess five (5) credits in O’Level subjects to include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) relevant subjects in Sciences, Social or Management Sciences.
For Diploma CoursesCandidates with O’Level results are to spend two (2) years for the Diploma programme while those with B.Sc./ HND and ND are to spend one (1) year.
For Postgraduate DiplomaCandidates must pass four (4) out of six (6) Executive Courses to be eligible for the postgraduate diploma.
For Executive CoursesTo qualify for an Executive Course, the candidate must possess a B.Sc., HND or Advanced Diploma certificate.

KASU DIPLOMA SCHOOL FEES

All prospective candidates are to pay the sum of N10,000.00 to KASU Third Party Funds Account No: 1221267161 (FCMB PLC) as admission processing fees. To apply, tap  forms.kasu.edu.ng

The Kaduna State University management recently published the amount of school fees to be paid in this new academic session by candidates applying for Diploma courses in all the various academic stages/levels.

Indigenes of Kaduna State pay N94,000 as tuition for the first year and N56,000 for the second year.

Non-Indigenes pay N125,000 for the first year and N96,400 for the second year tuition.

 

Note that these fees do not include such things as accommodation, departmental fees, or such other necessities.
