The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma is a non-profit public higher-education institution that was founded in February 2011. It was located in the urban setting of the small city of Dutsin-Ma (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Katsina.
Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, FUDMA is a coeducational Nigerian higher academic institution. It offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.

4. Infrastructural Facilities and Academic Resources
FUDMA being one of the recently established schools does not make it run short of the adequate facilities expected of an aspiringly world-class university. Though it is sponsored by the Federal Government and the State Authority, no one walks into its premise without getting a mouth-gaping surprise at the modern facilities and resources which it has put in place.
