Federal Polytechnic Bida Accredited Courses – Federal Polytechnic Bida was established 1977 following a decision of the Federal Government Nigeria to move the institution to Bida, Before then it was Federal College of Technology, Kano.

The first academic session started April 1978 with the population 211 students and 11 senior staff, 33 junior staff.

Federal Polytechnic Bida is a Federal Government tertiary institution situated in Bida, Niger State, Nigeria, currently there seven faculties in the institution.

Federal Polytechnic Bida Admission Requirements

1. Candidate must have obtained the mandatory cut-off point of 120 or above in year 2020 UTME.
2. Candidate must have chosen the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State either as his/her the First, Second or Third choice.
3. Candidates must possess minimum of five credits at not more than two sittings in their WAEC and or NECO/NABTEB in addition to the pre-requisite combination of subjects for the desired programme of study. Those with Awaiting Results can also apply.
4. Candidate must Register For The Post UTME Screening Exercise. Registration Procedure is given below.
   • Candidates must possess the following Required Documents for Online Registration:
   • Copies of Official Examination Results (including Originals).
   • Copies of JAMB Slip showing their photographs and JAMB online result
   • Passport photographs.
   • Original certificate of State of origin.

FEDERAL POLY BIDA CUT OFF MARK

The set cut off mark for the Federal Poly Bida is 100. Therefore all candidates who scored 100 and above ion their UTME are eligible to register for the post UTME exercise.

Also, this is open to candidates who chose Federal Poly Bida either as their first, second or third choice. In addition, candidates with awaiting results can also apply for the exercises.

How To Apply For Federal Polytechnic Bida Admission

The official cost for the BIDA POLY post utme form is Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000).

1. Visit Federal Poly Bida Post UTME Portal via: eportal.fedpolybida.edu.ng/putme
2. Fill the registration form by entering your details correctly.
3. Upload Passport: The passport must be in JPEG for.
4. Make Payment: The payment must be made only through BIDA Poly Application Portal.
   WARNING!!! don’t go to REMITA website to generate RRR, it has to be generated from BIDA Poly Application Portal.
5. After payment, Fill the Form. All fields with asteric are compulsory, the form has to be filled and candidates are expected to upload all necessary documents in order to be considered for admission.
6. Print Acknowledgement Slip: This is a document shows that Bida Poly has received your application.

How To Check Federal Polytechnic Bida Admission Status

1. Go to http://eportal.fedpolybida.edu.ng/putme/ Login with your username and password. Then click the admission status link to check your admission status.

2. How To Check Admission Status on the JAMB Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal.

Follow procedure below to check your admission status:

1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three doted line at the top right-corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. If you see admission in progress, then congrats because you have 99.9% chances of seeing “CONGRATULATIONS…”
11. If what you saw is Not Admitted, don’t panic yet, the admission is uploaded in batches. Just check back after some days/weeks.
12. And if you see CONGRATULATIONS… then jump up and dance because you have been offered admission.
