A. Crawford University Courses and Admission Requirements
i. Department of Biological Sciences
1. Biochemistry
The Programme holds a Biochemistry Refresher course for graduate professionals in November every year.
The National Association of Biochemistry Students (NABS) in collaboration with the Biological Science Student Association (BIOSSA) during her week organizes :
- The Annual HOD’s Football Cup Tournament
- As Essay Competition on the relevance of Biochemistry to the Society
- A Seminar on Biochemistry and the Industry with established industry professionals as facilitators
- Various categories of Annual Award for Lecturers and Students in the Programme/Department.
2. Microbiology
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The Departmental basic entry requirements shall be minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other science subjects at SSCE/WASC/GCE or equivalent examination in at most two sittings.

Direct Entry:
Candidates who seek direct entry admission into 200 level of a degree programme must have any of the following:
- B.Sc. degree of a recognized University in a related field
- Three (3) A’level passes in the relevant courses acceptable to the University
- OND (upper credit) or HND in relevant courses.
ii. Department of Computer and Mathematical Science
1. Computer science
2. Information and Communication Technology
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) O’ Level Credit passes including:-
English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other two from Biology, Further Maths and Additional Maths obtained from WAEC, NECO, GCE and NABTEB.
Direct Entry
At least two A’ level passes (not less than grade ‘C’) from Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Geography obtained from WAEC, GCE, IJMB, JUPEB and NABTEB.
Crawford University will also accept:-
- ND and HND with minimum of Lower Credit Pass
- NCE
Note: The department of computer and mathematical sciences also runs postgraduate programmes, that will include postgraduate diploma in Computer Science and master’s degree programmes in both Computer Science and ICT.
iii. Department of Physical and Earth Sciences
1. Industrial Chemistry
2. Physics with Electronics
3. Geology and Mineral Sciences
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to have a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) relevant subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings at the SSCE/WASCE,GCE /NECO or NABTECH. Candidates will also be subjected to screening test (Written and Oral).
UTME
(a) UTME: Five (5) ‘O’Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics are compulsory for Physical Sciences while Chemistry and Biology are compulsory for Biological Sciences.
(b) UTME Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Economics, depending on the Department.

Full payment of school fees is desired, however, a minimum amount of N300,000.00 may be accepted at the commencement of first semester only with a strong commitment to pay. The outstanding balance of school fees must be paid by the student at the beginning of the second semester
No student will be allowed into the campus without payment of school fees as stated above
